A Day in the Life of a Bespoke Tailor-Part 1
Receiving the Order: Once the customer places the
order, our team of Master Tailors get
to work immediately. We start by discussing the customer’s requirements in
detail, talking about the 20 plus
measurements, and carefully noting down their preferences for style, cut,
and fabric with the salesman.
Ordering the Fabrics: We source our fabrics from mills all around the
world, with a focus on Italy, England, and France. Our team orders the exact
meterage required for each suit,
taking into consideration factors such as body size, fabric pattern, and
customer preferences. The fabrics we use are some of the finest in the world,
costing anywhere from hundreds to thousands of dollars per meter.
Ordering the Trimmings: Once we have the
fabrics, we order all the necessary
trimmings such as horn or nut buttons, linings, shoulder pads, wadding, and
canvas. We pay close attention to every detail, ensuring that every element of
the suit is of the highest quality and matches the customer’s preferences
